I'm a c++ sorceress, techno music enthusiast, RF hacker, and real-time / embedded systems programmer :). Previously, I worked as a software engineer at Microsoft Research, Skype, Pivotal Labs, and Cisco Systems. I've served on the conference steering committee and been involved with CppCon as a volunteer since 2015.
My ISO c++ standardization interests and participation/contribution within WG21 include: SG4 (networking), SG5 (transactional memory) SG8 (concepts), SG14 (low latency), and SG20 (education).
Ask me about:
- Unified Communications (especially Media Codecs & Real-Time Media Communication Protocols)
- Distributed Transaction & Storage Systems (and my adventures in building 'fine-tuned, bare metal efficient' components of these systems using beautiful modern C++ and embedded C++/C)
- Building and breaking RF signals and amateur radio
